Bio

In the fall of 2014 the Krahn family landed in Red Deer to begin planting Grace City Church. This is was a huge step of faith but also obedience to God’s specific call on Chad’s life – to plant a church in Red Deer. Chad has served leading small groups and college ministry over the past several years in Edmonton, in addition to finished his theological education and various part-time jobs. The Krahns have been married for over five years. Their daughter Nora was born in 2014 and their second child is set to arrive in Spring of 2016.

Grace City Church longs to be a community that not only talks about the gospel but also demonstrates the gospel in tangible and relational ways. The community see it as their mission to demonstrate God’s immeasurable grace to the city of Red Deer. Like most cities in Canada, Red Deer is full of people who are disconnected for God and each other. Grace City longs to see that reminded by the power of the gospel in community.

Currently we are building a core group and meeting in homes.
