Bio

In 2005, a core group was formed to serve together to plant a new church in Terrebonne, a city of over 100,000 located in the greater Montreal urban community. Patrice Nagant and David Miller joined together to co-lead this plant. An expression of the Rendez-vous Montréal innitiative, l’Intersection also has a collaborative dimension. The Brethren in Christ Church is participating in the support and development of this young church through the involvement of David Miller. L’Intersection began its mission together as a new community of faith in January of 2006. There are presently about 100 people involved in the life of this church where the accent is on communicating clearly the Good News of Christ in our context, creating a welcoming and encouraging community and serving in the Terrebonne area. We are thankful for the steps that God has helped us to take together in following and proclaiming Christ. We are also thankful for the many ways in which we are connected to the MB family across Canada.

David & Patricia both grew up in Pennsylvania. They have three adult children: Jessica, Laura and Andrew. They moved to Quebec in 1981 to be involved in a BIC church planting project in Quebec City. We lived in Quebec City from until 1997 when we returned to Pennsylvania to live and serve for seven years. In 2004, invited by BIC World Missions to again be involved in church planting in Quebec, we returned (with joy) and were glad to team up with Patrice and Cindy in co-planting l’Intersection. Patricia works part-time teaching ESL. She enjoys swimming and biking. David loves distance running. Together they enjoy biking and hiking.
