Bio

Joe & Heather have served in pastoral ministry since 2002 in three provinces. Believing God was calling them to cooperate with His Spirit in planting a new church in urban Victoria, they moved their family to Vancouver Island in 2011.

Beacon Communities is a new, multi-generation church in James Bay, Victoria’s most populous neighbourhood. Our vision is to be a church made up of communities of changed people serving and renewing James Bay and the City of Victoria through a movement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We gather as a church on Sundays at 10:30am at the James Bay Community Centre, 140 Oswego St.
