Saskatchewan is a province rich in history and culture. It is located in western Canada between the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Manitoba, and directly north of the U.S. states of North Dakota and Montana. This prairie province is home to just over 1 million residents, 65% of whom live in cities. Agriculture remains the province’s leading employment industry. Just under half of the population resides in the cities of Regina (the provincial capital) and Saskatoon.
